Manufacturing Process: UV Gel Polish Bottle Coating

The production of painted UV gel polish glass bottles uses an industrial coating process, also known as spray coating technology. Since these bottles contain light-sensitive formulations, the coating must be fully opaque to ensure complete UV protection and product stability.

1. Pre-Treatment & Cleaning

• Degreasing: Removes oils, residues, and mold-release agents from the glass surface.
• Ionized Air Dust Removal: Eliminates fine particles and static dust that could affect coating quality.

2. Flame Treatment

Glass has low surface energy, making paint adhesion difficult. A brief gas flame treatment oxidizes the surface, improving adhesion and preventing peeling or chipping.

3. Base Coating

A uniform base layer is applied to create a consistent foundation for further coatings. For UV gel bottles, light-blocking agents are often included to ensure UV protection.

4. Color Coating (Spraying Process)

• Solid Colors: High-opacity pigments provide full coverage.
• Gradient / Metallic Finishes: Special spraying systems create ombré or metallic effects.
• Leveling Stage: Bottles pass through a controlled zone for self-leveling before curing.

5. Top Coating (Finishing Layer)

• Glossy Finish: High-shine, mirror-like appearance.
• Matte / Frosted Finish: Soft-touch, non-reflective texture.
• UV Protective Clear Coat: Enhances scratch and chemical resistance.

6. High-Temperature Curing

Bottles are baked in an industrial oven at approximately 82°C. This thermal curing process hardens the coating into a durable protective layer.

7. Quality Control (QC)

• Light-Shielding Test: Ensures zero UV penetration under strong light exposure.
• Cross-Cut Adhesion Test: Evaluates coating durability and adhesion strength.

8. Secondary Decoration

• Silk Screen Printing: Adds logos and text.
• Hot Stamping: Applies metallic gold or silver accents.
